About Me

My background in interior and fashion design lends itself well to product design. I use the same research methods, same interviewing techniques, and the same principles and elements of design. In all my design work, I have to learn to understand how people will actually use the product (whether digital or physical) and what makes an experience better. Because of the overlap in skills needed, I was able to jump into product design well prepared. I have been able to quickly grow and become a leader in my workplace, now lead designer for 3 teams.

In my spare time I work on renovating my 200 year old farmhouse, refashioning thrift shop clothing, illustrating quirky birthday cards, baking sourdough, trying out new recipes, reading as many books as I can, and spending as much time playing outdoors as possible!
